What to Expect When Visiting Zacatlán, Puebla, Mexico
Cultural experience made by the editor of the Art and Culture Magazine of Zacatlan, who is a descendant of Juan Olvera. You have access to old documents which can be photographed for a better experience. The Experience takes us to know the Museum with its pieces that are exhibited to the public and then we know the private collection to which only the family has access. This collection includes old magazines (1887 to 1935), documents and objects belonging to Juan Olvera.
We will know the Rancho Coyotepec to hear the story of Juan Olvera and his medal in the Universal Exhibition of Paris 1900 and we will know the old publications of the Illustrated Magazine of New York, of which he was an agent in this area of Mexico. Finally we will know the story of Alberto Olvera (Son of Juan Olvera) and how he starts his watch factory photographing old documents. We will listen to the story in voice of their descendants, we will have the opportunity to be able to photograph the old documents and the preserved objects. We will also taste organic products made with traditional family recipes. We will also know the gardens and orchards of the ranch.
