Itinerary
Day 1: Day 1. Transfer to Lazaro Cardenas Community and hiking to Arch of Time
Stop At: Biosphere Reserve Selva Ocote, Carr. Internacional, A Cintalapa s/n, Cruz Blanca, 29140 Ocozocoautla de Espinosa, Chis., Mexico
Early morning At 5:00 o’clock we board the unit in the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Capital of Adventure to begin our journey by moving to the General Lázaro Cárdenas community, located in the perimeter zone of one of the walls of the Grand Canyon of the sale, there will be a safety talk with the guide in Chief to introduce us to all the Staff that will be in charge and will generate the delivery of personal equipment that will be our responsibility throughout the Expedition.
it is planned to begin the expedition from Lazaro Cardenas to Arch of Time around 7:00 -7:30 am. We will make a hiking during 3 hours approximately through the Ocote Biosphere Reserve, with the help of porters and mules to move the necessary equipment for the Expedition. At 10:00 – 10:30 am we will arrive at the majestic Arch of Time, to reach the beach where we will camp. We will descend to rappel on a wall of 50 meters. Our night will be accompanied by the first fire inside the canyon. Overnight at Arch of Time (Camping).

Day 2: Exploring the Arch of Time
Stop At: Arco Del Tiempo, 30424 Cintalapa, Chis., Mexico
Early morning after a cup of coffee enjoy the amazing view of the Arch and the La Venta River Canyon. In companion of our staff and guides we will walk a few meters from our camp to see what we hear all night, a sound that is generated by the siphons and the roar of the river upon entering the area known as the Great Collapse, an area where giant boulders combined with rapids stand out.
About 10:00 a.m, we will start with the extraction of equipment that accompanied us on the expedition to later continue with the ascent. We will use harnesses, carabiners, elevators and rope, for this we will scale so individual with the help of the aforementioned team. It is contemplated that about 12:30 hours we will begin with the trek in the jungle of the Ocote Biosphere Reserve; it is a stony and rugged road similar to the first day when we entered the La Venta River Canyon. After 3 hours of trekking and hiking we will arrive where we will board the unit that will transport us to the General Lázaro Cárdenas community, once there we will enjoy a delicious typical food at the restaurante of the local community, there they will provide us with food. Our departure will be programmed about 18:00 pm we will board again the unit that will transfer us to Tuxtla Capital de la Aventura and your corresponding hotels. We will arriving about 10:30 pm.- 11:0pm.
