Stop At: Cenote Cristalino, Carretera Fed. Tulum-Cancun km 269.5 A lado del Ecopark Kantunchi, Playa del Carmen 77710 Mexico
If you like to see different things than the usual, go swim in this open (not in a cave) cenote, popular for its “U” shape form. There are many mangrove plants to see around, while you’re swimming. This cenote has a half cave you can swim through, and it’s nice to see the contrast between the dark and light water. Admission fee: 8 USD

Stop At: Tulum Archaeological Site, Carretera Federal, Cancun – Chetumal Km 230, 307, Tulum 77780 Mexico
It’s one of the most important archeological zones in the state of Quintana Roo. Tulum means “enclosure or wall”, so you will be able to see a lot of the Mayan culture within these walls. This city was built on a cliff from which you can see the turquoise shades of the Caribbean Sea in all its splendor. Admission fee: 5 USD

This Mayan site is still largely unexcavated; however, visitors can enjoy shaded walkways in the original roads and see 3 settlements that show the architecture, 2 ball courts and climb the highest Mayan pyramid. Archeologists have estimated that 6,000 structures exist, but only 3 settlements are for public viewing. Admission fee: 5 USD
