Puerto Vallarta Trip Overview
Each IFC Home Tour visits three or four unique private homes. One might be perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the Pacific while another could be tucked in a secluded garden downtown. Some of them feature lovely art and sculptures. Others feature waterfalls, streams and pools. Each is beautiful.
Our trained guides make sure our guests are safe while, at the same time, providing entertaining descriptions of the homes we visit and of life in Puerto Vallarta.
None of this would be possible without our generous homeowners. They know that all money raised is used to support IFC’s program of medical support for kids born with cleft palates and to support more than a dozen other charities.
The tours have been running since 1986 and have always been a favourite with Trip Advisor followers.
Most tours require you to climb up and down stairs and to walk on cobbled streets, so please be prepared for that.

Each tour visits three or four unique, private homes in Puerto Vallarta. The homes might be located on a rocky cliff with a stunning view over the Pacific Ocean, or tucked into a secluded corner of a walled garden downtown. Some homes feature interesting art or sculptures, while others have interesting water features like waterfalls, pools and streams.
Each tour is led by trained volunteers who ensure every guest remains safe and who is also available to answer questions and to provide information about the homes and Puerto Vallarta.
It is a wonderful way to see the inside of homes and to learn about life in PV.
All of our generous homeowners allow IFC to show their homes so that the International Friendship Club (IFC) can use the proceeds to fund medical, education and cultural programs for the children of Vallarta. It would not be possible without them.
Climbing up and down stairs and walking on cobbled roads is part of most tours, so please ensure you are able to do that.
