What to Expect When Visiting Oaxacade Juárez, Oaxaca, Mexico
This cooking class is developed through deep research with people specialized in pre-Hispanic food, we seek to spread the heritage value of Oaxaca vegetarian food. Together with a traditional Cook we will tour the neighborhood and buy the freshest products for our dishes.
Oaxaca Vegetarian Cooking Class, we will tour a beautiful traditional neighborhood of Oaxaca, I will lend you a “chiquigüite and mandil” busy to go to the market traditionally, we will tour the Merced neighborhood, we will pass through the most beautiful churches and We will walk through parks surrounded by beautiful trees, pink, green and yellow quarry houses, I will show you beautiful parks of the colonial neighborhood and secrets of this area of the city.
Halfway through our tour we will meet some producers of fresh organic vegetables and vegetables from a town near the city organically grown and harvested in the morning, then we will visit some producers in the neighborhood market, try some snacks and buy some supplies for our kind of Oaxaca vegetarian cuisine.
We will return to our starting point to start the class and provide all the information on our menu, we will prepare everything fresh, a main course, a salad, water and even a dessert and all care for a traditional stove.
We will share the food and give thanks to Mother Earth and everyone present, so the flavors of Oaxaca and diverse.
