Stop At: Hierve el Agua, Oaxaca Mexico
70 kilometers from the city of Oaxaca, is located one of the most spectacular natural heritages in the state, the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua, nestled between the mountains of the Sierra Mixe and the Sierra Norte of Oaxaca.
A place that will leave you impressed with the view you have from the top of the waterfall.

Stop At: Santiago Matatlan, Santiago Matatlan, Southern Mexico
45 kilometers east of the city of Oaxaca is a small town called Matatlán that, due to the number of palenques, has been named “world capital of mezcal”
There we will get on another vehicle that we call the Barrimovil del mal de amor.

Santiago Matatlán is a name derived from the Nahuatl words: which means a place near networks. The population depends economically on the production of mezcal and the cultivation process of the mezcal maguey (Agave potatorium). This is where most of this liquor is made and in the short journey you can see fields and fields of agaves that grow for that purpose. In the town it is possible to visit family stills to see ancient techniques to make this traditional liquor where you can observe the production process, from the cooking of the maguey “pineapples” to their grinding, fermentation and distillation.

Stop At: Teotitlan del Valle, Teotitlan del Valle, Southern Mexico
The town of Teotitlán del Valle is located 30 kilometers from the city of Oaxaca and its meaning is “place of the gods”, in the Nahuatl league. It is famous thanks to the quality and beauty of its wool textile products: rugs, jackets, bags, sarapes, tapestries, “corridors”, carpeting, curtains and dresses, made on large wooden looms and decorated with natural dyes, whose designs go from the traditional Zapotec and Mixtec frets and griffins, to reproductions of contemporary painters.
The elaboration of its textile is 100% handmade from the washing of the wool obtained from the sheep in the river, the carding of the wool, the elaboration of the thread through the spinning wheel, the use of natural dyes based on insects and variety of plants, until completion on their pedal looms.
