The first site to visit is the archaeological site of Monte Albán. We will take a guided tour where you will learn about the history of the ancient Zapotec city.

We will pick you up at your accommodation and then begin the transfer to the first point of the Tour.

We will visit the town of Teotitlán del Valle, a Zapotec town where you will learn about one of the crafts of this culture. You will learn about sheep wool rugs, how they dye and seal the colors with natural instruments.
In this same town you will learn about beeswax candles. The men follow a tradition of bringing candles that measure more than a meter and are decorated with beeswax flowers to the entire bride’s family. The workshop offers explanations and products for sale.

Our next visit is to the town of San Antonio Arrzaola, the birthplace of wood carving. Here you can learn about Oaxacan alebrijes. It is a place for shopping and learning.

You will visit a 100% artisanal Mezcal palenque, you will take a tour of the palenque and a Mezcal tasting will be offered, and at the end you will be able to buy products made by this palenque.
