Tour 2 Option: Taco Walking Tour:

Walk through one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city while trying different types of tacos. We will learn the correct technique of how to eat them and you will become an expert to identify the sauces. You will taste “garnachas” that are the typical Mexican snacks and also we will show you so many gourmet options that you will decide to stay more days in the city.

According to your preferences and interests, we will tell you about the history and the process of making each traditional dish. Apart from having a companion, you will have a friend who will help you prepare your taco, a Mexican friend who will recommend the best places and take care of your stay in the city.

This activity includes:

-We’ll visit 5 locals and fast food stands to discover the preparation and the magic that a different taco has.

-If you are allergic to any food, let us know before you start. We have different options for the group including vegans.

We will stop at the old basilica that currently functions as an atoning temple to Cristo Rey. Then, we will climb to Tepeyac hill through a steep staircase until we reach the Capilla del Cerrito, built at the site of the first appearance of the Virgin of Guadalupe, popularly remembered as the miracle of fresh flowers.

We will continue the tour approaching the old nasturtium convent where the Museum of the Basilica of Guadalupe is currently located. Here, we can admire an impressive collection of more than 4,000 pieces of new-Hispanic art linked to the cult of Guadalupe.

Before finishing the tour we will have time to visit a typical market, in case you want to buy a Mexican souvenir or Mexican candy, it will be the ideal time.
