We visit the Archaeological Zone of Tlatelolco within the city of Mexico, it was a city founded by the Tlatelolcas, a Mexica tribe that separated from the Tenochcas, founders of Mexico-Tenochtitlan. Mexico-Tlatelolco was located on an island to the north of this city within Lake Texcoco. There was the most important tianguis in the region – and indeed in all of Mesoamerica – where all kinds of local merchandise and the most remote areas were sold.
