The cenotes are rock formations, the result of the erosion of the limestone soil by the rain over thousands of years, as a result of this accumulation of underground water, the cenotes are formed. For the Mayans they represent life and a connection to the spiritual world and the underworld. On this tour, we will visit one of the cenotes that still preserve its natural structure and that modern human life has not affected its essence.

We suggest not using sunscreen, body cream, repellent, as we can damage the quality of the water in this oasis.

During the tour, our guide will have insect repellent of natural and biodegradable origin. You only have to request it at the moment.

Over time, conflicts such as “The War of Castes” arose until reaching the famous “Agrarian Reform” this law, returned freedom to the Mayan people, as well as their lands. .

The Haciendas are currently being restored by individuals, in many cases such as hotels or museums that allow us to remember the rise and fall of these palaces.
