We will start the morning with a walking tour through the archaeological site of Kabah. This city can be considered one of the most relevant settlements on the Puuc Route. The complexity of its structures says that Kabah was a comparable city to Uxmal, which is connected by an 18 km long sacbé, “Mayan road”, whose architecture will surprise you, especially the Codz Pop temple, which means In Mayan “rolled mat” or “royal mat” and whose building is decorated with hundreds of masks of the God Chaac. Each mask is made up of 30 individually carved pieces, which assembled constitute one of the most remarkable sculptural ensembles of Mayan art.
