To make you experience authentic and memorable, we will take you to meet one of the master handcrafts men of México, you will discover his original jewel technique using organic plants and also you will learn in a workshop how to create a Mayan piece.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Izamal, Izamal, Yucatan Peninsula

We will transfer from Mérida to the Magic town of Izamal.
Duration: 1 Hr.
We will walk through the pictorials streets of the yellow town to capture the best pictures.
Duration: 30 min.
Also you will have the opportunity to visit the town aboard a horse-drawn carriage, a colonial carriage pulled by a horse, living a amazing experience as people of mid-sixteenth century used to. Duration: 1 Hr.
As part of the tour we will visit the workshop of a very talented Mayan artisan, who creates beautiful jewelry from the spines of the henequen plant and cocoyol, the seeds of a certain variety of palm tree, and you will learn the ancestral Maya techniques to create these beautiful master peaces
Duration: 1 Hr.
Lunch time, we will transfer to Kinich restaurant, a magnificent culinary space of Yucatecan food where the flavors of the colony are integrated with traditional Mayan techniques.

To finish our tour we will go back to Mérida.

To get the best panoramic view of the town, we will climb to the top of the Kinich Kakmó Pyramid, the largest in surface area at Yucatan Peninsula and the third in Mexico after the Sun´s Pyramid of Teotihuacán and the one in Cholula, Puebla.

Stop At: Convento de San Antonio de Padua, Calle 31-A, Izamal 97540 Mexico

You will have the opportunity to visit the Franciscan Convent of San Antonio de Padua. This masterpiece of colonial architecture was built in the XVI century over a Mayan shrine and has the second largest closed atrium in the world, after St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican.

At the end of the tour, your palate will be marvelous with the menu three times Yucatecan food at the Restaurant Kinich, one of the best in town.
