Playa El Caimancito as the fifth beach to visit is undoubtedly one of the most difficult to find even for tenants. The story here presents the typical dispute between hotel developers who privatize beaches and tenants who demand public beaches for everyone. El Coromuel Beach is the last beach we visited and it is the only beach in La Paz that has the international distinctive “Blue Flag”. This important recognition was given in 2017 after implementing systems for measuring water, caring for the environment, educational information and more. This beach with modern infrastructure is one of a kind and of immense value.
