What makes Private Tequila Tasting Tour a unique experience ?
We will tour a family-owned distillery that has been in operation since 1954 and is currently run by the fourth generation. We will gain insight into the entire process of tequila production, from planting the seeds to bottling the final product and will have the opportunity to sample their premium tequilas.
During our tour, we will make a stop at the agave fields to have a closer look at the plantations and take in the picturesque landscape, which is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally you will have the chance to take photos to capture this unique experience.
We will also visit a second, family-owned distillery that produces tequila using traditional methods. There, we will have the opportunity to compare and contrast the methods used at the first distillery, and you'll get to taste a selection of their unique, boutique tequilas.
We will journey to the heart of tequila country, taking a leisurely stroll through the downtown area to take in the main attractions and opportunities for memorable photos.
We will enjoy a delicious lunch in Tequila Town, where you will have the chance to taste authentic Mexican cuisine, including the renowned flavors of Jalisco's gastronomy. Mexico's culinary heritage is widely considered among the best in the world.
We will savor a well-known regional cocktail, the "Cantarito", and you will also have the chance to browse and purchase any souvenirs at a local gift shop.
