Itinerary/what you’ll do:

Stop At: Chapala, Chapala

Our private tour will begin with a visit to the spectacular old train station of Chapala, where we will learn about the town’s history and indigenous origins. Then we will walk on the town’s beautiful malecon before visiting the local church, market and plaza to get a glimpse of the peaceful lifestyle of an authentically Mexican fishing village. As we admire the scenic views, we will get to taste the local snacks and learn the most interesting facts about the biggest lake in Mexico.

Stop At: Ajijic, Ajijic

Our tour will continue with a visit to the picturesque neighborhood of La Floresta, in Ajijic, where you will get to admire the most beautiful houses in town. Later, we will walk in the town’s colourful cultural corridor to pay a visit to the arts and crafts boutiques and stores, where you will get to admire a wide diversity of local products. Afterwards, we will have lunch and drinks at a lovely garden-restaurant. Both national and international cuisines are available. You will love this place! We will finish our tour by enjoying the sunset at the lake’s shore while having ice cream or a tequila cocktail. Depending on traffic, we will be back in Guadalajara around 5 pm – 6 pm.
