This beautiful place hosts also the smallest volcano in the world – Cuexcomate. Its total height is 13 meters, and the diameter does not exceed 23 meters. Cuexcomate is considered an inactive volcano. In addition to its small size, this volcano has another unique feature. Inside, there is a spiral stairs that lead into the interior of the crater. Streams of lava are impressive not only for volcanologists, but also to ordinary tourists.
