Itinerary
Day 1: Chihuahua
Stop At: Centro Historico de la Ciudad de Chihuahua, MX, Entre AV. Independencia y Paseo Bolivar La Fotografía que aparece aqui no corresponde al lugar, Chihuahua 31000 Mexico
Arrival at the Chihuahua airport where you will be received by Viajes Dorados staff and transferred to your hotel. Your travel documents containing hotel coupons, train tickets and itinerary will be at your hotel reception; Please request them in your hotel registration upon arrival.
Later (the time of your walk will be set upon arrival) you will enjoy a guided walk through the main points of interest of the city visiting the Pancho Villa Museum (closed on Mondays), Government Palace and its descriptive murals of history of the state, Cathedral, Colonial Aqueduct and the residential area.

You visit the museum of Pancho Villa and you will know where he lived and about his life in this city.

Day 2: Chihuahua- Creel
Stop At: Creel, Creel, Copper Canyon, Northern Mexico
Breakfast is included in the hotel; 9:00 am departure by road to Creel. On the way we will visit the Mennonite Community in the city of Cuauhtémoc (closed on Sundays) where we will enjoy a traditional snack (light meal) based on Mennonite cheese, cold meats, pickles, bread, cookies, jam; all of this prepared and cared for by Mennonites. Note: If the date coincides with a Sunday, the included meal will be exchanged at a local restaurant run by Menonitas. Arriving at Creel; walk around Creel visiting Lake Arareco, the Valley of Los Hongos y Ranas (rock formations), the old Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio (Tarahumara church) and a cave inhabited by Tarahumaras.

This beautiful lake is located 5 kilometers from creel, on the way we will stop to take photos and admire the incredible view.

Stop At: San Ignacio Mission, Km 3 Creel – Arareko, 33200 Mexico
You will be able to know this Jesuit mission of the 18th century, they also have a museum of sacred art and surrounded by impressive landscapes such as the Valley of the Mushrooms.

Day 3: Creel – Cerocahui
Stop At: Cerocahui, Cerocahui, Northern Mexico
Transfer to the train station by the hotel staff; departure in the CHEPE EXPRESS TRAIN tourist class at 7:30 am; enjoy the extraordinary ride on the new Chepe Train through the Sierra Tarahumara (see up-grades). Arrival in Bahuichivo at 10:55 am and transfer by hotel staff to Cerocahui to your hotel. Food included in the hotel. In the afternoon at 2:00 pm, guided tour with your tourist guide Mr. Raúl Pasos who will contact you at your hotel to enjoy a walk to Cerro del Gallego “spectacular viewpoint of the Urique Canyon”. Enjoy the most impressive view of the Urique Canyon from where you can see the river and the mining town that bears the same name; Also on the way you will see beautiful views of the canyon and several Tarahumara valleys. Return to your hotel for dinner included.

A guided view of the Urique canyon is made with a guide, to observe the Tarahumara mountain range in all its splendor.

Day 4: Cerocahui-Divisadero-Barrancas
Stop At: Divisadero, Divisadero, Northern Mexico
Breakfast included at the hotel and time to visit on your own the surroundings such as the central square, the old Jesuit Mission and the Tarahumara girls’ hostel that are all located next to your hotel. Mid-morning transfer by road with Mr. Raúl Pasos to Divisadero; an approximate hour and a half journey. Arrival and registration in Divisadero; Food included in the hotel.
This afternoon we suggest a visit to the Barrancas del Cobre Adventure Park that is located in the area and where you can visit the different viewpoints, stone flown viewpoint, challenge your adventurous spirit on the suspension bridge that crosses a small canyon, ride the Cable Car or Zip lines (optional -not included), or just buy nice Tarahumara handicrafts. Dinner included in the hotel.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Copper Canyon Adventure Park, Barrancas del Cobre, Areponapuchi, 33435, 33435 Chih., Mexico
This visit is optional. The park includes zip lines, hanging bridges, and rappelling activities. The entrance to the park is included as well as the cable car.

Day 5: Divisadero – Barrancas Chihuahua
Stop At: Divisadero, Divisadero, Northern Mexico
Breakfast included at the hotel and then take your morning off for walks on your own; the hotel offers a courtesy walk around the area for your hotel guests (information at reception). At 1:00 pm, staff will contact you at the reception of your hotel for your transfer by road to the city of Chihuahua.
