Afterwards we will visit the Cocoa Hacienda Called Jesus Maria “CACEP” located in the city of Comalcalco; here you will get to know the true history and elaboration of the famous chocolate along with the tree that gives life to the seeds.
Our host will lead us on a fabulous trip through memory lane where we will learn how the cocoa was an essential part of life where the Mayans and Olmec’s where it then because converted into chocolate, which then became an object of luxury in Europe until it became a multimillionaire business which is what it is now and days.
