Cancun Trip Overview
We will enjoy 4 full days in the beautiful Yucatan peninsula. We will visit famous and legendary Maya pyramid ruins, swim in the unique cenotes of Mexico, take a boat trip into a natural wildlife reservation, see animals in their natural habitat and learn about the role that mangroves play to the ecosystem, take the ferry to an island and enjoy the pristine waters and beaches that Mexico has to offer. Also, visit historical cities of the peninsula and learn about their history.
Additionally to the regular schedule of visiting the pyramids and landmarks, we will:
– experiment local food (including vegetarian or vegan)
– go on walks and or bike trips (optional)
– eat in public markets
– fun facts & information
All in all, everything is included in this tour, except for food. Your only worry on this trip will be how to enjoy as much as possible these 4 days or how to take better pictures of everything around you.

Itinerary
Day 1: Cancun – Isla Mujeres
Stop At: Isla Mujeres, Isla Mujeres, Yucatan Peninsula
We will leave from Cancun on a ferry.
Arriving on Isla Mujeres, we will enjoy the beach, the pristine water, walk around the island or rent scooters (optional), snorkel (optional), dine.
Spend the night on the island.
Next morning, we will take the ferry back to Cancun.

Day 2: Isla Mujeres – Tulum – Coba – Valladolid
Stop At: Tulum, Tulum, Yucatan Peninsula
Sightseeing
Tulum Ruins
Duration: 5 hours
Stop At: Zona Arqueologica de Coba, Carretera Federal Tulum 307, Coba 77793 Mexico
Visit Ruins Coba
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Cenote Jardin del Eden, Carretera Tulum-Playa del Carmen, 77710 Mexico
We will visit and enjoy a remarkable cenote.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Valladolid, Valladolid, Yucatan Peninsula
Arriving in Valladolid, we will visit this landmark city, learn about its history and monuments.
Optionally, we will bike around the city and visit another amazing cenote.
We will spend the night in the city.
In the morning, we will have breakfast at the local market, then leave to our next destination.

Day 3: Valladolid – Chichen Itza – Izamal – Merida
Stop At: Chichen Itza, Chichen Itza, Yucatan Peninsula
Chichen Itza Ruins – visit this landmark, learn about its history and culture.
Cenote Ik Kil – enjoy the pristine water of this natural spot.
Duration: 5 hours
Stop At: Izamal, Izamal, Yucatan Peninsula
Visit the small city.
Optionally, visit the maya ruins of the city.
Stop at a restaurant.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Merida, Merida, Yucatan Peninsula
Visit the city.
Visit historical monuments.
Take an evening walk.
Have dinner.
Spend the night.
Next morning, we will have breakfast in the local market and move to our next destionation.

Day 4: Merida – Celestun – Uxmal – Cancun
Stop At: Celestun, Celestun, Yucatan Peninsula
Go on a boat trip in the Celestun natural area.
See wild animals such a pink flamingos, in their natural habitat.
Reach and explore a mangrove natural area.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Uxmal, Uxmal, Yucatan Peninsula
Visit Uxmal Maya Ruins. Learn about the history and culture of the place.
Afterwards, return to Cancun – drop off. End of the trip.
