Santa Maria Cove and Chileno Bay are probably the two best snorkeling locations near Cabo San Lucas Mexico. These two beautiful coves are located along the Los Cabos Corridor, between the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The water is usually calm and clear compared to most other locations in the Cabo area.
Most of the boat tours visit either Chileno Bay or Santa Maria Cove, and there is a good reason. The calm blue water and friendly tropical fish are perfect for a day tour or cruise shore excursion. The two bays are located just around the bend from each other, but the unique layout means that when the snorkeling is excellent at one, it could be not as good at the other – it depends on the weather patterns.
For this reason, we’ve combined the two locations and the rest of the Los Cabos Corridor into one snorkeling tour – that way the crew has the freedom to choose the spot along the Corridor that has the best snorkeling conditions on the day you’re on the tour.
