The Deathly Dark Tour of York is a grim and theatrical, dark comedy walking tour, perfect for those who have a bit of a wicked streak and are looking to explore the dark and spooky history of the city with one of our guides, famous for their wonderfully dark sense of humour.
Please note, this is NOT a scare attraction, it is a storytelling experience.
The tour is family friendly, but some may find the stories frightening. Children must remain with their parent/guardian at all times.
Tour group size is 20-50 people, although this will change depending on the season. Private and small group tours are available on request.
Early Myrtle Beach History and The WWII Years Trolley Tour
If you like history and want to know how Myrtle Beach was in the beginning and specifically during the years of the second world war, this trolley tour may interest you. It shares the city's origin story and tells what it was like to live there during WWII with U-boat threats off the coast and the arrival of German POWs. It makes stops at Myrtle Beach's first golf course, Pine Lakes International Country Club, and the Historic Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum. Guests gather in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common to begin boarding at 9:45 AM. The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. This 7-8hour tour which is operating in 365-day including Mondays & National Holidays, take you to the Korean DMZ which is located about an hour away from Seoul.
You will see the Third Tunnel, the DMZ Exhibition Hall, the Dora Observatory and pass by the Unification Village on the way back to Seoul. It will be an educational experience to learn about the Korean War and its history.
The Third Tunnel, Dora Observatory and Unification Village are closed every Mondays & National Holidays.
But you can join the Monday & National Holiday or if the Third Tunnel is closed, you will visit another places instead such as DMZ Peace Gondola, Jangsan Natural Observatory, Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge (Suspension Bridge).
