Our guided kayak adventure is the best of its kind in the area! Our expert guides are Florida Master Naturalists with vast knowledge of the local flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating local history! We get to kayak for a living! We never lose sight of that, and we show you our appreciation by keeping you safe, and making sure you enjoy our "office" as much as we do! We keep our groups small to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our equipment is high quality, well kept, and safe.

There is a reason that the Mangrove Tunnels of Lido Key are a must-do experience when visiting the Gulf Coast. We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life…then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. We meet a HALF HOUR before our tours)

Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. Your stable, glass bottom sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters. The glass bottom kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels. Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. The snorkel location offers a great variety of marine life and is considered by many a must-do while visiting Bonaire!

Our guides are certified Advanced Master Naturalists and South Florida natives who have been paddling most of their lives and guiding tours for over 15 years. We are passionate about education and protecting Florida’s beautiful ecosystems. Our groups are small usually 10 guests or less providing a personal experience. Smaller groups also increase chances of observing a variety of wildlife from a closer distance. Once you book, a member of our staff will contact you to schedule the tour. Our industry leading small group tours have only 8 people max verses 15 people for your safety and enjoyment. Our kayaks are very stable, have a wide opening, are very comfortable and it covers the side of guests legs which helps in the tunnels when guests run into the branches. We have the earliest start time on our morning trip, a midday and a mid afternoon. Our guides have extensive kayaking guiding experience on both flat water and whitewater which for guest safety in these tidal areas. This is our 20th year with our kayaking company in southwest Florida and when you paddle with us it’s like visiting with good friends during the best time of the day. A 2 hour kayak rental will allow you to explore the calm, clear waters between Stock Island and Key West on your own from the comfort of your single or double kayak (book per person not per kayak) Glide over sea grass and through mangrove tunnels as you look for fish, birds, sharks, rays and maybe even a manatee. Great for paddlers of all experience levels though all guests must know how to swim.

Just a few minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Sarasota is our favorite local beach, Turtle Beach. It is only a few short miles from the main Siesta Key beach to Turtle Beach and the Sarasota County trolley will drop you right there. Not only is this area such a beautiful and quiet place, it is also a great place to paddle! We start on the intercostal and paddle down a short canal to the Bay. We paddle around the mangrove islands through a mangrove tunnel or two and alongside a bird rookery. We paddle around the mangrove islands of Jim Neville Marine Preserve and then to a "secret" beach. This beach is only accessible by boat so we may have it to ourselves. Such a beautiful place for a quick swim or just stopping for a few moments to relax. You may want to stay here all day. No one imagines that so close from the city center there are so many beauties. Mangroves, islands, solitary beaches, wildlife , and more…. We'll begin with a short briefing and paddling instruction for afterwards heading towards the mangroves. we'll pass by two solitary islands with lots of wild life, birds etc… our first stop will be at Paradise beach an isolated beach with spectacular views and then… the mangroves, crossing them through a natural tunnel that gives us a feeling of tunnel time crossing, finishing into corumbê bay another + spectacular place. ATTENTION !!! This tour is designed for people who are not sedentary and who practice sports Maximum duration: 3 hours 30 minutes, paddling time: 120 minutes, one stop, Intense physical effort. WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, repellent, sportswear, bathing suit, cap, sunglasses and water. This is a half-day rental. It is not a guided tour. We are on the bay, not the Gulf. The water is much calmer. Your destination is about a mile away. John's Pass has sandbars, islands, dolphins, manatees, and more. It's a popular place to paddle. Beach your kayak or sup on the sandbar and soak up the sun. Search for the mangrove tunnel. Watch ships sail under the span and work on your tan. You don't have to meet us at a slippery public boat ramp! We have free parking and a private floating dock. Our shop called The BoatDega has snacks, drinks, and restrooms. We can set you up with a cooler and fill it with ice. You also have the option to reserve an Easy Snorkel. Swim in the shallow water by the sandbar and search for seashells.
