Surf lessons with high quality for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), in Portugal on the beaches of Peniche and Baleal. Learn how to surf with sports teachers, also experienced surf coaches (Portuguese Surf Federation), and local surfers from Peniche! The surf course have 10 lessons, two hours each one. The goal of this course, is to improve your surf level with the appropriate feedback, the appropriate support, and the appropriate methodologies depending your level. We will begin with TWO intense and full-bodied RED WINES from different regions in DOURO; after, we will try the freshness of a RED WINE from BAIRRADA and a special RED WINE from DÃO. During this tour you will learn about the different Portuguese wine regions through a wine tasting. Taste 6 different wines from different regions and taste some local nips and dips. You will have the chance to visit a typical small production Portuguese vineyard and winery, where the grapes are collected by hand and pressed in an old lagar. The tasting will be accompanied by a knowledgeable person, to answer all your questions and make remarks about each wine. The star is of course the Carcavelos wine, it's history and production methods, and it's taste! The farm sits on top of a hill in Oeiras, which offers you the most spectacular views over the Atlantic ocean, the south coast of Lisbon and Cascais! The specie we mostly see during our activity is the Blue Sharks and you will enjoy to swim with them at their own natural habitat or look at them from the boat. Blue Sharks are very curious and pass very close to the boat, spend long periods of time surface swimming, just floating at the surface or in the boat you will experience very close interactions with these beauties. A very friendly species and one of the most beautiful animal around. We also happen to see Mako sharks, the fastest shark of the Ocean ! In 1807 Napoleon sent his armies to invade Portugal as punishment for the country not having joined his Continental Blockade. With the English help, a joint force of British and Portuguese commanded by the future Duke of Wellington was created to tackle the situation. Anticipating the third and last invasion the duke built two impregnable defensive lines north of Lisbon, fortifying all the surrounding hills. In this tour we will visit three of the main forts of the Torres Vedras Defensive Lines which connect the Tagus to the Atlantic: the Alhandra Memorial Fort, the Zambujal Fort in Mafra and the Torres Vedras Fort. In Mafra we'll visit the magnificent baroque complex Palace/Convent/Basilica, built with the large amounts of gold brought from Brazil.
