When you visit Balandra beach, what you will enjoy the most are its calm and shallow waters that allow visitors to enter up to 500 meters into the sea with water up to their knees, making it safe for all ages. Undoubtedly the greatest characteristic of Balandra is the peaceful landscape and the icon of the destination, the rock called the Mushroom, which has this peculiar shape due to the erosion process caused by waves and ocean currents. Any time of the year it is ideal to visit this beach framed by the hills that plunge into the Sea of ​​Cortez. Balandra is also a special place in Mexico for its biodiversity, since the mangroves that surround it are unique at the national level and have flora and fauna protection and conservation areas. This beach is recognized as a Natural Monument of the Gulf of California, where you can go hiking with well-established and safe routes. Balandra is located 27 kilometers east of the city of La Paz.

We will begin the journey on Route 225 and then set sail from the Port of Petrohué, sailing for almost two hours on Lake Todos los Santos, observing the majesty of the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes. We drive across the Pacific Ocean on the main road for about two hours stopping at restrooms and to stretch our legs. On the way we have a snack on board the van with water. Then, arriving at BALANDRA beach (for now access is limited, access to this protected beach is not guaranteed) known worldwide as one of the most beautiful, stop for about 2 hours and 1 hour at another beach. We headed to the City of La Paz arriving at the restaurant for lunch. Then we went on a city tour to see the Mission of Nuestra Señora de La Paz, House of Culture, Office of the Old Government, Casco Antiguo, Malecón in front of the beach, House of Artisans with original Pearls, and free time. when we return to Cabo stopping at the Magical Town of Todo Santos, here the hotel California is about 45 minutes away. Then heading back to Cabo.
