The Hearthstone is a large, beautifully restored Queen Anne Victorian Style home built in 1882 by Henry J. Rogers, Superintendent of the Appleton Paper and Pulp Mill. On September 30, 1882, Hearthstone was the first house in the world to be lit by an Edison central hydroelectric power station. The house retains many unique, genuine features, including the original Thomas Edison electroliers and light switches.

The Museum honors the memory of the 29 Uruguayans who perished in the Andes in 1972, when their airplane crashed on its way from Montevideo to Santiago de Chile. This exhibition is also dedicated to the16 fellow, who “returned to life” after having endured 72 infernal days under the worst imaginable conditions. (see movie and/or book: "Alive") The exhibit includes pictures, documents, personal belongings and airplane debris, among other relevant items. A timeline provides a day-to-day account of the events that took place in the “Valley of Tears”, during those never-ending 72 days.

There are three cableway routes. You can reach Dayong Road in the city center. For Line A, take the cableway directly. For Line B or C, there's a 15-minute free shuttle to the Tianmen Cave Express Line boarding point. Or you can find the way yourself and go straight to the express line without the shuttle. The Tianmen Mountain Cableway, known as the world's longest, is 7,455 meters (8,150 yards). Each cable car can carry up to 8 people. Show Time 19:30–20:30 How to Collect Tickets? After your e-ticket is issued online, you can pick up a paper ticket with your original ID document at the ticket office, after 18:00 on the day of the show. The ticket office is just opposite Yue Fei Temple at the performance venue. The address is 82 Beishan Road, Hangzhou (Chinese: 杭州北山路82号岳王庙对面). Please Note: • ID documents (passport/Chinese ID card/Travel Permit) are required when booking the ticket and entering. • Tickets cannot be changed or cancelled after they have been issued. • Seats are allocated randomly. We cannot book specific positions. • If the show is stopped due to situations beyond the organizers’control, including rainstorms, thunderstorms, geological hazards and device failures, you will receive a full refund. The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, bearing the name of Hammondsport's favorite son, is located on State Route 54, one half mile south of the village of Hammondsport, New York. Dedicated to the memory of pioneer aviator, Glenn Curtiss, the museum contains a priceless collection relating to early aviation and local history. The museum also features a 75-seat theater, large open area for special events and a museum store. In addition to seeing the museum displays and exhibits, visitors are welcome to visit the Restoration Shop, talk with volunteer craftsman and watch them work on historic aircraft.
