Molde and Atlantic Ocean Road Audio Tour
Our excursion begins in Molde, the capital of the Romsdal province. The city lies on the banks of the Romsdalsfjord surrounded by 222 mostly snow-capped mountain peaks.
Our journey takes us past Molde's popular hiking and skiing areas and the marble-studded mountains directly to Norway's most famous coastal road, the Atlantic Road.
This unique and spectacular series of bridges connects numerous islands and reefs and was named Norway's Building of the Century in 2005. During a photo stop, we have the opportunity to experience this interplay of nature and modern architecture up close.
The tour continues along the breathtaking Hustadvika Coast, dotted with cliffs, reefs and sandy beaches.
The next highlight is the 407m high Varden viewpoint. During the photo stop, a wonderful view of the fjord landscape with its countless small islands, the city and its impressive mountain panorama awaits us. Before we reach the harbor again, there is still time for a short city tour.

Your visit includes a 75-minute walk with a conservationist guide along a 1.4km all-abilities path. Your guide will lead you through environments including grassland, forests, bushland and tree fern gullies, spotting unique wildlife along the way. You will learn about the ecology of the spectacular Otways and the research protecting the Great Ocean Road’s threatened species. During your tour, you will pause at the Conservation Ecology Centre Research Hub to learn about the conservation projects that Wildlife Wonders is supporting. Unlike other tours, only your group participates, you can choose which places and how much time you would like to spend there. The wrong crowd spoils many trips; if you want this, make it private. This tour is also excellent if you have children, as we can accommodate child seats; please advise after you book.
Pick-up time is flexible; we can shorten the tour to return as early as 4:00 pm. We recommend starting early to maximise the stops and avoid the crowds, but we are flexible.

Enjoy a scenic self-guided bike ride along a dedicated bicycle and rail trail. Ride through spectacular countryside, spotting dairy cows in their paddocks and past relics of old trestle bridges.
There is 50km of recreational bike riding trails for nature lovers, with many flat sections making for a leisurely, enjoyable e-bike ride suitable for all fitness levels. These beautiful trails are nice and quiet, so you won't have to worry about riding with traffic or dodging anyone in your way.
The 12 Apostles Bicycle Trail meanders from Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road to Timboon, Victoria. The bicycle trail also connects to the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail in Timboon which takes you through to Naroghid, near Camperdown, Victoria.
With plenty of picturesque scenery, there will be lots of photo opportunities. Ride to the historic Timboon Trestle Bridge, stop at Schulz Organic Creamery and Cafe, or stop for food, local produce, sweets and ice cream in Timboon and Port Campbell.
