Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby and bring you to visit the Marble Mountain, Lady Buddha then. Immerse yourself in the wonderful jungle of Nayarit and dare to climb Monkey Mountain. Get to know the nature and culture of the area and taste its local products in the town of Higuera Blanca. Your adventure begins at the Sayulita Bus Station, where we will take a local bus to the town of Higuera Blanca (25 min) After a brief introduction we will begin the hike to Monkey Mountain. The total round trip is 8 km/5 miles. We will start on a trail that connects with the jungle, from there we will continue up a long hill and at the end we will climb some rocks to the hill. The difficulty intensity is moderate – low. At the top of the hill you will have time to rest, admire the landscape and enjoy a small snack. We will descend along the same path to the town of Higuera Blanca and from here we will take a private transport back to the main square of Sayulita to end our tour.

Hiking Monkey Mountain in Punta Mita takes you to the very top of the area’s landmark mountain, overlooking the surrounding beaches with a remarkable 360° view from the summit. Starting in the foothills of Monkey Mountain, you will start the 1-hour semi-shaded uphill hike through winding jungle trails to the summit. During the hike, you will experience spectacular views of the surrounding area and a fascinating introduction to the local flora and fauna. Once you reach the summit, there will be time to enjoy a rest with some water and a granola bar, to sit back and bask in nature with an incredible view, before heading back down and finishing the hike. Many of the trails in the area are built and maintained by our team.

Tour program : 2 pm to 6:30 pm. Firstly, we will visit Marble Mountain, also known as Ngu Hanh Son ("five elements mountains"), is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. There are many beautiful caves, pagodas, temples… All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains. We continue to visit Am Phu cave. After 90 Minutes of visit, we will drive 40 minutes to our next stop: Monkey Mountains. We will enjoy panorama view of Da Nang from high position. You will visit Linh Ung pagoda, one of the biggest pogoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady Buddha statue in vietnam . End tour at approx. 6:30 – 7:00pm. Monkey Mountain was a prominent observation base during the American-Vietnam War, housing two radar domes that are now taken over by the Vietnamese military as well as a helicopter pad, which makes for a cool lookout point. Hiking Monkey Mountain From Sayulita side or Punta de Mita this hike is one of our favorites -Its 2 hours duration  360 great view at the top.! This activity is great for families and also can be as workout ,Monkey Montain is not an easy hike..! it is demanding but always put you a smile on your face at the end,, not a the beginning  Lol. Summer time is a little harder because humidity , that is the reason we need to start the earliest possible or at sunset. • We have to options to climb this mountain,, by Higuera Blanca(Punta de Mita) or by Patzcuaro.(Sayulita) this second option is the hard option.  1 st option :Higuera Blanca side is much easier. • We can do it in the morning or at sunset • if weather is good,, we do it.
