Assin Manso Slaves River and Cape Coast Castle Day Tour


Our First stop is Assin Manso Slave Ancestral River where the Slaves had their last bath before moving them to Cape Coast and Elmina castles for final shipment. At Assin Manso, you will be told the history and walk through the Ancestral path to see the slave river where tourists will have opportunity to pray to their Ancestors and ask them for forgiveness. From the slave river, we move to Cape Coast Castle for the main history about the slave trade during colonial rule and see the DOOR OF NO RETURN After the castle, we get to enjoy the hike to Kakum National Park as we go onto Canopy Walk in the park. Get ready for an exciting but physically demanding (15-20 minute) hike in a dense Rain Forest. We will climb a hill so wear sporty shoes, sneakers and face towel for the forest hike. NB: You can skip Kakum National Park/Canopy Walk for Elmina Castle. Or go to Elmina Castle instead of Cape Coast Castle but not both. Feel free to decide! Enjoy your trip!

Bariloche: Cerro Tronador and Ventisquero Negro Glacier


Along the way you will find viewpoints to enjoy the impressive views that the hills offer, you can go to one of the dark sandy beaches of Lake Mascardi. Passing Villa Mascardi, turn right and you can follow a path surrounded by native forests. It is an area of exceptional beauty, visited every year by lovers of mountains and fishing. Upon reaching the Manso River, you can stop at the Los Rapidos Bridge to watch trout swimming in a rush in the crystal clear water. From there you can see the upper Manso river valley in almost all its extension, with its meandering course and greenish-colored waters. Continuing to Pampa Linda, you will find a beautiful place where you will find accommodation and gastronomy services. From there you can see other Tronador glaciers. The ascent continues until you reach the last viewpoint of the route, the Ventisquero Negro, a glacier that descends from the Tronador and stands out for its dark color.

We will pick you up at the central meeting points and depart from Bariloche, following the legendary Route 40 heading south towards El Bolsón. As we enter the imposing lower valley of the Manso River, the landscape transforms and takes us to the heart of the Patagonia Campestre complex, Punto Límite's base of operations. Class 2 rafting ideal to share with the whole family touring the heart of the National park. Rafting is an activity where you descend an inflatable river with rapids on inflatable rafts. This option on the Manso River has class II and III rapids, in the heart of the National Park. It is the ideal option for families with children. After the instruction, a 60-minute descent is made. Then a stop is made for lunch. Later, rafting continues in the funniest section of the river. We finish with a snack on the banks of the river.

Assin Manso Slave Camp is a pure historical site where tourists are briefed on the slaves who were taken through the camp for their last bath and later to be auctioned before they were taken to the slave forts. This is a sacred site where people believe the spirits of many ancestors reside and can be felt.

Rafting in the Rio Manso a class 4, ideal for a day of adventure with a lot of adrenaline. Rafting is an activity where you descend an inflatable river with rapids on inflatable rafts. The Manso Frontera is a full day activity, with rapids from class II to IV. The trucks take us to the southern limit of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. From there it is almost two hours of descent down the river to the border with Chile. This excursion is only for people over 14 years old. Adrenaline and fun are guaranteed.
