This actual spring is the largest and a most interesting source among the other 18 springs that flow from Mali i Gjërë. It has been declared a Natural Monument and has an oval shape similar to the shape of an eye. The spring has great depth, which goes up to 50m, and it’s surrounded by dense and lush vegetation. All in all, the area offers a great time out for adults, as well as for children.

We will tour and explore Saranda, a city with more than 2000 years of history (also known as Onhezmi). Saranda is on the southern coast of Albania, rich in rare values of Albanian and European cultural and archaeological heritage. We will explore The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi (a monument); an Archaeological Museum; The Museum of Heritage; an Art Gallery; The Orthodox Church; The Castle of Lekuresi and The V-VI Synagogue Complex (within the Castle).

If you are staying in Saranda, there are spots you should not miss. With your guide you will be able to go between greenery and nature of the Blue Eye to the ancient castle with a panoramic view of Saranda, Butrint Lagoon and even the island of Corfu. We start the tour in the morning from your pick up location (hotel,port etc) Then we take the way to reach the first destination Lekursi Castle build by Sultan Suleiman the Great. A 360o view of all the region around, where your eyes can enjoy a magnificent sight-seen of a big island ( Corfu), a city ( Saranda), a lake ( Butrinti Lake). All in one from the top of this strategic place. After that the next destination will be the Gjirokastra Castle . We will take a ride at the bazzar wich is authentic in his style. Than we go ahead to the castle … Gjirokastra's hilltop castle is one of the biggest in the Balkans. There's been a fortress here since the 12th century, although much of what can be seen today dates to the early 19th century. In the end we take the way back to Saranda with any stops along the road
