Seven Magic Mountains was produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund. The exhibition opened May 11, 2016, and was originally scheduled to be on view for two years. Due to the incredible success of Seven Magic Mountains since its opening, artist Ugo Rondinone has expressed a strong desire to explore ways to keep the artwork on view at its current site. We drive across the Pacific Ocean on the main road for about two hours stopping at restrooms and to stretch our legs. On the way we have a snack on board the van with water. Then, arriving at BALANDRA beach (for now access is limited, access to this protected beach is not guaranteed) known worldwide as one of the most beautiful, stop for about 2 hours and 1 hour at another beach. We headed to the City of La Paz arriving at the restaurant for lunch. Then we went on a city tour to see the Mission of Nuestra Señora de La Paz, House of Culture, Office of the Old Government, Casco Antiguo, Malecón in front of the beach, House of Artisans with original Pearls, and free time. when we return to Cabo stopping at the Magical Town of Todo Santos, here the hotel California is about 45 minutes away. Then heading back to Cabo.

We begin the day at Armstrong Woods, where you will walk among the oldest and largest trees on the planet. The park has 1500 year old, 300-foot Redwoods beauties that offer an awe-inspiring stroll through one of the most unique forests in Northern California. We purposefully choose NOT to go to the more known Muir Woods, which is overrun with crowds and prevents our guests from fully enjoying the majesty of the Redwoods. Instead, we go to Armstrong, which has older and taller trees, and far less crowds for a more private experience. We will travel to a small timber town where we will purchase lunch and, weather permitting, go picnic at the beach as we travel down the spectacular California coastline. The day ends in Sausalito — a lovely town on the San Francisco Bay with magical views of the city. Then, you can decide if you want to return with us or take a 30-minute ferry ride back to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
