The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you. This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine. As soon as we arrive we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro´s red, white and rosé wines. Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue&white portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride. After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with White, Red and Port Wines. After lunch you will have a Port Wine tasting in which you will sample several different years. Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante, for a final tasting of its treats.

Our excursions start at the Pinhão pier and are carried out by local guides. Circuits carried out in groups of 8 people maximum in mini-van. Our tour is exclusive, just for you and your guests, up to 7 people, lasting 2 hours. The "Amazing" is a 23-foot boat, completely new and super comfortable. Calm, serene navigation. Relaxed environment. We intend to showcase one of the most beautiful areas in the world – the riverside area of Porto and Gaia, across the Douro River, passing under the 6 bridges that connect the two cities. We share personal experiences and provide a relaxed atmosphere with the offer of a welcome drink. We leave from Marina do Freixo towards the Mouth of the Douro River/Atlantic Ocean between the banks of the two cities. Crew composed of 2 skippers. We will hike/walk through the vineyards in Douro valley until the amazing Pinhão village trough the amazing scenario of the Douro Valley Vineyards, wine region which is the only wine region in the world which is world heritage site by UNESCO. On our way, we will have a picnic in an amazing spot, just in the middle of the vine (Food not included) After the picnic, the hike will continue with the amazing views of Douro Valley vineyards until the beautiful village of Pinhão where will finish our hike and have the chance to visit the secular train station. The hike has an extension of 9 Km and can be considered easy to medium for people who can walk easily 10 km. And difficult to people not used to walking long distances. From August to September, temperatures can get easily to 40ºC (115ªF) please make sure you can handle the heat. After this amazing day, we can take a dive in the River to refresh before returning back to Porto.
