The excursion begins when we pick you up in our minibus with your driver and a professional tour guide, to go to Tierra del Fuego National Park. On the End of the World Train, we are going to relive history in time and space. We will travel the same path that many years ago the prisoners traveled. Already in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, you will observe the most characteristic species of the Fuegian forests in a spectacular area of 63,000 hectares. The first point to visit in the park is the End of Route 3, in Lapataia Bay, where we find the famous End of the World sign, which symbolizes the union of Ushuaia and Alaska. Here you will have the most iconic photo that everyone wants to have: The End of the World poster, the End of Route 3 The next stop is at Lake Roca, where we will contemplate a typical Patagonian postcard To finish we will visit the Ensenada Zarategui where the last postal box of Correo Argentino is located.

Ride along the last miles of track of the original convict train that once operated in Ushuaia from 1910 to 1947 with an End of the World Train admission ticket. Hear the history of this famous narrow-gauge railroad while gazing out at the rivers, waterfalls, forests, and mountains of magnificent Tierra del Fuego National Park. Transportation to the End of the World Station is not included. Entrance to Tierra del Fuego National Park is NOT included, and must be purchased to board the train.

After being picked up at your hotel in the center of Ushuaia, where you will take an exciting ride on the last 4.5 miles. The park has dramatic scenery, with waterfalls, forests, mountains and glaciers. The Senda Costera (Coastal Path), connecting Ensenada Bay to Lapataia Bay on Lago Roca, is a popular hiking trail within the park. Forests of Antarctic beech, lenga beech and coihue in the lower elevations of the park are home to many animal species. Make an early start to Horton Plains National Park at 06:00. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you'll take a guided walk along the nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End. A variety of wildlife including endemic Rhino-horned and Hump-nosed Lizards, highland bird species including the Sri Lanka White-eye, Dull-blue Flycatcher, Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow-eared Bulbul may be encountered. Also keep your eye out for troops of Bear Monkey, and Sambar (Sri Lanka’s largest species of deer) which are regularly seen in the plains close to the entrance. You will continue your journey up to Bakers waterfalls.

You can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railway, with its steam locomotives and elegant cars that have large windows and an individual audio system, the which offers the possibility of listening to the story in 7 different languages, in order to not only appreciate the nature that surrounds it, but also know a very important part of the history of Ushuaia. The trip continues to the National Park Station, contemplating the magnificent landscape offered by mountains and valleys near its border. Arriving at the National Park Station, our last stop, your guide will be waiting for you to continue your visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. At the end of the excursion, we will return from the National Park to Ushuaia in a shared transfer. Train ticket confirmation is subject to availability.
