Guided Evening Penguin Viewing Otago Peninsula, Dunedin, New Zealand


See up to 200 blue penguins returning from sea in the evening! (Generally more penguins are seen over the spring/summer than our autumn or winter months, but we guarantee to see penguins every night!! In the non-breeding months of March to August we often see 20-50 birds each night, however on rare occasions we might see fewer than 10 birds). Extremely close viewing of these birds. Learn about the Māori history of this significant site. Tour includes a special "behind the scenes" look at the reserve and penguin habitat. Whale Shark snorkeling tour in a reduced group with local marine biologist


Important update: since January 29th the whale shark season has been suspended temporarily because of lower temperatures in La Paz bay have caused the whale sharks to leave the bay and look for food further from here. We expect them to return soon but we are not sure when will that happen. We have closed the availabilities for February in the meantime, and kept March and April open to book, but please keep in mind this information in order to plan your trip accordingly. Lisbon Dolphin Watching with a Marine Biologist in a Small Group


Our main goal is to find dolphins! Depart from Lisbon on a fast Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The adventure starts on a speedboat on the search for dolphins in the wide Atlantic Ocean. Before leaving the Tagus Estuary through the river mouth, you will pass under the 25th of April bridge. You will see the beautiful monuments in Belem neighbourhood, and head into the Sea. Get the best view from the Atlantic Coastline, on a comfortable and safe 8.5m RIB. We will scan the ocean in the search for wildlife using several techniques, just like a scientist, and you will play an important role in helping us find them. Get to know the different cetacean and seabirds species with an expert Marine Biologists. During 3 hours, you will experience the adventure of looking for wild marine species, like sunfish, sharks, jellyfish, whales or even sea turtles, so close to Lisbon. Explore San Diego Tide Pools with a Marine Biologist


Adventure with a marine biology educator along the coast and learn more about wildlife living in the intertidal zone of San Diego. Great for all ages and skill levels. There are some stairs and lots of uneven terrain we will walk on, so this is not a wheelchair-friendly activity. I taught middle and high school marine biology for more than a decade before committing to environmental tourism! With fifteen years of teaching youth and adults in outdoor education settings, plus my background in conservation biology, provides guests with in-depth (pun intended) knowledge of marine life during our tide pool exploration. Groups are kept small (10 people maximum, with exceptions for private groups/families) which makes this a more intimate and personal experience.

Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden Tour with University Biologist


Don't just wonder the Gardens aimlessly without a guide. Our guide is a university trained Naturalist who previously worked at the Gardens. Our tour begins with a scenic 45 min bus ride from PV. The guide will then lead us through multitude of different gardens and hothouses up to 2 hours giving detailed explanations of what we encounter. Scientific explanations mixed with Mexican folklore. Then we take an hour break so you may dine at the award winning restaurant with scrumptious food and amazing views over the stunning river canyon. After lunch we will take a short guided nature walk (15 minute) down to the beautiful Horkenos River to relax and swim for approx. 1 hour. After we will have a final opportunity to visit the gift shop/nursery and visit a few areas of the garden while we make our way back to the parking. Live the adventure on a boat with snorkeling accompanied by an expert marine biologist who will show you the biodiversity of the sea of Sorrento, in the marine protected area of Punta Campanella (opposite the island of Capri). We leave Sorrento at 8.00 am with a staff driver who will take you to the port of Massa Lubrense, after the introductions, we will leave for the marine protected area. During the short stretch you can admire the jagged coast and the "Saracen" watchtowers, there will be plenty of anecdotes and stories about our territory. Once you arrive at your destination you will put on the mask, snorkel and wetsuit to start our fantastic adventure. Throughout the snorkeling you will be guided by our biologist and you will be able to spot barracudas, amberjacks, bream and if you are lucky dolphins and sea turtles.


1/2 Day Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden tour by Biologist Guide


Don't wonder the Garden aimlessly alone. Tour with our experienced local guide with a biology degree from the University of Guadalajara. We will spend up to 2 full hours touring the different planting beds, nursery, and gift shops. This includes the Vanilla Plantation, Orchid Houses, Begonia House, Cactus House, Rhododendrons House, and aquatic plant pools. Guide will lead discussions and make commentaries based upon science, Mexican history and Mexican mythology. After the tour you have several options to see more on your own including visiting the river and swim. Or travel to the historic town of El Tuito visiting the old picturesque main plaza. Or you may even return to Puerto Vallarta after the tour in the company of the guide. Lunch available at the award winning restaurant at the gardens called Hacienda de Oro.
