We are an experienced shuttle service providing transport for visitors to and from the Tongariro National Park since the 90's. These rentals are recommended for those in good physical shape. First, get your local trail guide's advice on what alpine lakes to float on with packrafts. You'll receive a topo map of the Bitterroot Mountains with over 10 annotated routes to choose from for your adventure. On the day your rental, you'll meet the trail guide at a local place (WinCo) in Missoula or Hamilton, who will set you up with your full day kit, including everything you'll need to float on a peaceful alpine lake in the Bitterroot or Lolo National Forest. Recreate responsibly and safely with bear spray and first aid, both provided in this day kit. As a bonus, read our recommendations on other sightseeing destinations in the valley! Enjoy a 25 minute panoramic scenic flight, with stunning scenic views of the Seaward Kaikoura ranges and a birds eye view of the Kaikoura Peninsula. After take-off, we will climb to approximately 6000 feet to fly past the back of Mount Fyffe for some true mountain flying.
